En el sitio en Myspace de The Nightwatchman, el proyecto en solitario de Tom Morello, ex-guitarra de Audioslave, podemos oír el tema «Until the End», que se incluirá en su disco debut «One Man Revolution», a la venta el 24 de abril.

Slash, guitarra de Velvet Revolver y anteriormente en Guns N Roses, ha firmado con la editorial HarperCollins para publicar sus memorias. El guitarra -de nombre real Saul Hudson- escribirá su biografía junto al escritor Anthony Boza, experto en estas lides, ya que se encargó de co-escribir la biografía del batería de Motley Crue, Tommy Lee. Hasta el año próximo no se espera que se publique.

El metalero industrial Mortiis tiene preparado nuevo álbum para el 16 de abril, vía Earache Records. Se llamará «Some Kind of Heroin» e incluirá remixes de los temas de su anterior disco de estudio, «`The Grudge]». El tracklist del disco será:
