Arctic Monkeys han anunciado que su nuevo álbum se titulará «AM» y que verá la luz el 9 de septiembre. Ha sido producido por James Ford y cuenta con colaboraciones de Josh Homme, frontman de Queens of the Stone Age, Bill Ryder-Jones de The Coral y el batería de Elvis Costello, Pete Thomas. Además, en el tema «I Wanna Be Yours» aparecen palabras del poeta John Cooper Clarke.
