De acuerdo a Hipster United, The Smashing Pumpkins quieren poner en ‘streaming’ su nuevo álbum, “Oceania”, a finales de noviembre. La descarga del disco ya coincidiría con la publicación en formato físico previsto para 2012.

Ha anunciado vía su Facebook el percusionista de Slipknot, Shawn “Clown” Crahan que la banda de Des Moines se embarcarán en una gira por EEUU en junio del año que viene. También afirma que de nuevo álbum del grupo, nada de nada. “Aún nada de álbum nuevo porque es demasiado pronto y no hay aún canciones porque la banda necesita juntarse para componer el siguiente.” Por cierto, Clown ha empezado un proyecto de libro que será la biblia de los ‘maggots’ (los fans del grupo).

Los siempre recomendables Look What I Did siguen trabajando en su ópera rock, “Zanzibar III: Analog Prison” para la que están contando con colaboradores de lujo: gente de The Faceless, The Human Abstract, Foxy Shazam, Dog Fashion Disco, Last Chance To Reason, Born Empty o Gay Vibes andan echando una mano a los de Nashville. De momento, podemos oír el tema “Brigham Young & David Koresh Rally The Troops On The Moon”.
